Kicking It

Great Triple A ride on Sunday except for the traffic, so glad I am not a weekend warrior, a luxury I know! Nice tidy 2 hr ride through freestone, bodega rollers, salmon creek rd, and back thru bodega.  Tuesday was a mega pms & girlie day but forced a 1 mile swim at the gym, so much easier & more relaxing than the ocean surf :-)  Today was a FANTASTIC AMAZING RADALICIOUS 9.5 mile run thru town.  Body felt great (teeny nagging right achilles tendon, call PT today!) and used a handheld water bottle which was great, my body needs more H20.  Kinda awkward to feel the sloshing of the bottle but needs to be done for higher mileage and marathons and .....ultras.  Feeling pretty groovy.  Just want to stay on track with run swim ride & crankcycle & ujams between all the camping & fun family events planned for the next few weeks.  Still need to work on nutrition and fueling big time.  I am not a breakfast person which proves difficult on a 9.5m run or long ride when you bonk or have that empty gnawing feeling in your belly and want to dive into a stack of pancakes mid-event but can't :-)
